Transportation is an important process:
The steel structure is mainly composed of steel columns, steel beams, steel frames and rigid supports, etc. The volume of steel
structure components is large, and the main export transportation modes are:
1. 40'HQ and 40' open top containers
Under normal circumstances, after the customer orders, our engineering department will design the steel structure in accordance
with the 40'HQ and 40' open container size to ship, in most cases, we use 40'HQ and 40' open shipping containers to pack the steel
structure.
2. Bulk
In special cases, the scale of some large buildings will exceed the 40'HQ and 40' open container interior dimensions, and
customers are advised to use trucks, flatbed trailers, etc., to transport large building components from the factory to the dock
and then lift through the port, so when booking space, customers should book bulk cargo. We will work with our customers to
provide them with the size and weight of the goods to book a reasonable space.
Note:
When the component is transported to the scene, due to various transportation reasons may lead to component deformation (generally
bending, damage to the paint film, etc.), can be corrected on the scene, the current correction method is generally divided into
cold straightening and hot straightening.
For the bent parts, the oil pump is used for mechanical plugging, and the flame (C2H2 and pure oxygen mixture) can also be used
for thermal straightening, and the damaged paint film must be repaired after correction.
Steel construction is usually a large installation project. Some customers may require SBS to assign a professional technical
engineer to supervise the installation at an overseas site. For this situation, the customer should coordinate with us the
following aspects:
